Planning for continued success

It’s all over the news – has been and continues to be – things are slowing down.  So what does that mean?  Does it mean that you will have no work? Or does it mean that you need to rekindle some of those old client relationships and perhaps reach out to those who deserve the kind of services and care that you are ready, able, and willing to give?

Instead of allowing the doom and gloom of the media to affect us, let’s decide to really do something about it.  This is the perfect time to do so.  This is the time to reflect on last year and to plan for what is to come.  But instead of worrying about it, let’s just decide that it’s time for a fresh start – for our businesses and for our clients.  This is really the time to make sure that we have our public relations, marketing, and sales plans in place.  Next of course, let’s visit those organizational issues.

I’m sure many of you may be reading this and saying this was a really good year.  So let’s celebrate and let’s strengthen all those plans, activities and hard work that made this a good year.  I have recently spoken to quite a few people who have said just that – it was a good year.  But then they add, but I am worried about next year.  To me, that’s a shame.  We all work hard enough to make our activities successful and we deserve to enjoy those wins.  So let’s do just that – let’s strengthen all our successes and work to minimize those small failures.
